The hike will start and end with a bus ride from the North Irving Transit Center to the Bird's Fort Trail.  During the hike, cubs and family members will be able to do activities and enjoy refreshments provided by McDonald's. Transportation will be provided by DART to and from the park from the North Irving Transit Center.

NOTE: Please do not drive to Bird's Fort Trail.

Allow about 1 hour and 30 minutes to do the trail hike.
Instructions:
  1. Please attend the September 10th Cub Scout Roundtable to receive
    all the necessary forms to register your pack families.
    Deadline for registration is October 15th, 2007
  2. Review the Departure Time schedule to determine the best time to gather at the DART South Irving Transit Center.
  3. Either coordinate the whole pack yourself or delegate the Den Leaders to determine who will be participating on the hike from the den. Each Cub and Cub Leader will be required to pay a fee. Family participants (friends and/or relatives) are at an additional cost.
  4. Registion deadline is October 15th.  Have the following items ready for registration:
    • Cash or check or both for the Cub participants
    • Totals for patches, segments, and entire group (Cubs, Cub Leaders, and guest).
  5. At registration you will receive final information about the hike.
