2008 Spring
Camporee
This year’s event will be March 28th thru March 30th at Camp Cherokee, Athens, Texas
Check-in and camp setup will be Fri. from 5:00 to 10PM.
The park has running water and restrooms. Bring your own tents. Cooking will be done by unit. If you need equipment, check with your favorite troop.
Come prepared to have a good time. This year, for the Boy Scouts, there will be events such as Archery, .22 Rifle Range, and Canoeing. There will also be many of the other favorites as well.
For the Cub Scouts, be prepared for loads of fun with the 2 man saw, BB's, Archery and much more.
Saturday night there will be a camp wide Camp Fire and The Order of the Arrow will be doing Brotherhood conversions.
